Hicks is one of President Trump's longest-serving aides, having worked with him from the beginning of his campaign. The announcement comes a day after Hicks spent hours testifying before the House Intelligence Committee as part of its investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and any possible coordination between Moscow and the Trump campaign.
