Trump mulls staff shake-up in effort to contain escalating Russia crisis
The White House plans to far more aggressively combat revelations about contacts between Trump associates — including the president's son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner — and Russia. Trump and his aides are considering such changes as retooling the senior staff and creating a "war room" within the White House. Aides are also looking at overhauling how the White House communicates with the public, with the possibility of campaign-style rallies so Trump can address his supporters directly.
National security adviser: 'I would not be concerned' about a Russia back channel
H.R. McMaster and another top White House official refused to comment specifically on the growing controversy surrounding Jared Kushner. "It's not something that I've in any way been involved with or that I have any knowledge of," McMaster said.

The Fix: Why the president seems powerless to stop leaks
The gusher of information from within the administration might be attributed to Trump's animosity toward the news media.

Trump alternates between charming and boorish as he plays the role of his lifetime overseas
During his nine-day marathon trip, Trump was visibly comfortable in environs that evoked his own, like Saudi Arabia's gilded-and-chandeliered palaces, yet appeared out of place in others — appearing unsure of what to do or where to go. John "Jack" Parsons Wheeler III co-founded the organization that built the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and he was national director of Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Then he went missing in 2010. The discovery of his body was a shocking — and unsolved — end to his lifetime of service.

Trump family members met with GOP leaders to discuss strategy
The president's sons and his daughter-in-law met with RNC officials, sources said, irking at least two prominent Republicans who wondered whether it was appropriate for the president's family to be highly involved in the party's strategy and resources.

Trump said he wouldn't use the presidency to boost his businesses. Now his golf club is hosting the PGA.
He has retained ownership of his real estate and branding empire despite criticism from Democrats and ethics experts that he stood to personally profit. His son Eric said hosting the major 25 miles from the White House is "the greatest marketing in the world."
