Trump Jr.'s meeting with Russian lawyer said to have been set up by family with Kremlin ties
A publicist who represents the pop star son of a Moscow real estate developer confirmed that Emin Agalarov requested the meeting. Agalarov's father helped sponsor the Trump-owned Miss Universe pageant in Russia in 2013, and the family previously signed a preliminary deal to build a tower with the Trump name in the Russian capital.
The Fix: Trump Jr. contradicted previous White House denials of Russian contacts
For an administration and campaign that have repeatedly denied contact with Russians and had their denials blow up in their faces, it's yet another dubious chapter.

Bernie Sanders's wife pushed for a loan that crippled a Vermont college. A federal probe is gathering steam.
Jane Sanders led the purchase of more than 32 acres for Burlington College. Trustees said they were misled about how a $6.7 million loan would be repaid, and the 160-student school was forced to close last year. A spokesman for Sanders and her husband, the senator and former Democratic presidential candidate, said the inquiry is driven by the GOP and "right out of the Benghazi playbook."

North Korea's surprising, lucrative relationship with Africa
The continent is dotted with buildings and statues built by Pyongyang, which has for years used African nations as financial lifelines in the face of mounting sanctions. But the infrastructure deals and military equipment sales are only part of the problem, as many African leaders maintain close ties to the regime.

The study found that a rapidly warming Arctic Ocean is followed by colder temperatures across North America. And that's bad news for agriculture.

Are Americans moved by Trump's media-as-enemy war cry? The opposite may be true.
The media's negative poll numbers, although high, haven't changed in a year. But positive views of the press are on the rise with some segments of the public.
