Trump meets with Republicans as Corker slams him for 'untruths,' 'debasing' the country
President Trump addressed Senate Republicans at their policy luncheon in order to discuss the GOP's effort to cut taxes, and although Corker's comments did not come up, according to two senators who attended, the rift laid bare the tensions between the president and his party in their last attempt at a major policy accomplishment this year.
