Woman says Roy Moore initiated sexual encounter when she was 14, he was 32
Alabama resident Leigh Corfman said that in 1979, when Moore was an assistant district attorney, he brought her to his home and touched her sexually. Three other women said that Moore — now a candidate for U.S. Senate — pursued them when they were teenagers and he was in his early 30s.
Prominent Republicans call on Moore to exit Alabama Senate race 'if these allegations are true'
President Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell were among those who weighed in on the issue. Roy Moore has given no indication he will withdraw from the Dec. 12 special election, and in a fundraising pitch stated he would "fight back against the forces of evil waging all-out war on our conservative values."
