Former DNC chair Donna Brazile says she seriously considered Biden to replace Clinton
In her explosive new memoir, "Hacks," the former acting chair of the Democratic National Committee reveals that she considered the switch after Hillary Clinton collapsed in New York on Sept. 11, 2016 — in part because Clinton's campaign was "anemic" and had taken on "the odor of failure." Brazile's book details widespread dysfunction in the party, including secret deliberations over using her powers to retop the ticket with then-Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Cory Booker.
