Arrests along Mexico border fall to lowest level in decades under Trump
The number of people caught trying to sneak into the United States illegally hit a historic low after President Trump took office but has steadily increased since May, according to a report by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Agents made 310,531 arrests during the fiscal year that ended in October, a decline of 24 percent from the previous year and the fewest since 1971.
