3 GOP senators come out against McConnell's repeal-only plan
Centrist Republicans Susan Collins, Shelley Moore Capito and Lisa Murkowski all said they would oppose any vote to proceed with an immediate repeal of the Affordable Care Act, meaning the Senate lacked the support it needed. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell proposed that idea after new opposition from GOP senators Monday effectively ended the party's revamp of the health law.
